Why converting to Word breaks PDFs
PDF-to-Word converters guess the layout. Tables shift, fonts change and pages spill over, so a one-word fix turns into an hour of formatting. Editing inside the PDF keeps everything else exactly where it was.
How to fix a typo in the existing text
- Open Edit PDF and add your file.
- Choose Edit text and click the words you want to change.
- Type the correction. Undo and Redo are there if you change your mind.
- Download the edited PDF.
Add text, images or a logo
- Add text — click anywhere and type, for example a note, a date or an address.
- Add image — place a logo, stamp or photo, then drag and resize it.
- Crop images — trim an image that is already in the PDF without replacing it.
Hide information safely
Use Whiteout to cover phone numbers, prices or addresses. Keep Remove covered content for good ticked before you download, so the hidden text cannot be copied out of the file later.
Limits to know
- Edited text uses the closest standard font, so check that it blends in.
- Some special characters, such as ₹, are written as “Rs.” because standard PDF fonts do not include them.
- In scanned PDFs the text is part of an image. Cover it with Whiteout and use Add text to write the new words.
