The four settings that matter

• Paper size: 4×6 inch, which is 100 × 150 mm.
• Scale: 100% or Actual size. Never “Fit to page”.
• Margins: none.
• Orientation: portrait.

These work the same on TVS (such as the LP 46 series), TSC, Zebra, Xprinter, Honeywell and most other 4×6 label printers.

Add a 4×6 paper size on Windows

1. Open Settings → Printers & scanners and select your label printer.
2. Open Printing preferences and find the page or stock setup.
3. Create a new size of 100 × 150 mm (4 × 6 in) and make it the default.
4. In the PDF viewer's print dialog, choose that size and Actual size.

The exact menu names differ between printer drivers, but every driver has a paper size or stock setting.

Darkness and speed

Start in the middle of the darkness range and raise it one step at a time until barcode bars are solid black but still clearly separated. Too much darkness makes bars bleed together. If the QR code looks patchy, lower the speed — slower printing gives the head more time to heat each dot.

Calibrate after every new roll

The printer's sensor has to learn where one label ends and the next begins. After loading a new roll, run the calibration from the driver or by holding the feed button (check your model's manual). Without it, one label can print across two stickers.

Quick fixes

• Label too small: the scale is not 100%.
• Blank sticker between labels: calibrate the gap sensor.
• Faded lines down the label: clean the print head with isopropyl alcohol.
• Label cut off at an edge: the PDF is not 4×6 — crop it first with the Meesho, Flipkart or Amazon label cropper.
